Alex Leontaridis
I currently study CS at Stanford. Previously, I was a Software Engineer at General Learning (YC F24), where I was one of the first 10 engineering hires, building the future of education, serving 1,000,000+ students.
In high school, I co-founded ReSeed, a nonprofit using custom-built autonomous drones to reforest wildfire-burned areas. We planted 15,000+ trees in our first year and were featured by Forbes, Tech.eu, CNN Greece, and others, becoming the largest student-led organization in Greece.
At 16, I worked alongside Professor Ilya Strebulaev at Stanford, researching venture capital with Python, LLMs, and large datasets.
Right now, I’m particularly interested in Physical AI and robotics, the reindustrialization of America, and the question of how humanity can climb the Kardashev scale.
